A Bedtime Prayer for Doubt
Doubt doesn't mean your faith is dying — it means it's being tested.
God, I'm wrestling with doubt and I feel guilty about it. Questions are louder than answers tonight. But I believe You can handle my honesty. Meet me in the questions. Don't let doubt drive me away from You — let it drive me deeper. I'm choosing You even in the uncertainty.
Doubt that drives you to seek God is not the enemy — it's the doorway. Amen.
When to pray this
Doubt is not the opposite of faith; indifference is. The fact that you are still asking the question, still bringing it to God rather than walking away quietly, is itself a kind of faith. Honest doubt prayed out loud has always been welcome.
