A Prayer for Doubt
Even the disciples doubted — and Jesus didn't give up on them.
God, if doubt disqualified people, every hero in the Bible would have been benched. So I come to You honestly — I have questions. Big ones. Instead of running from them, I bring them to You. Strengthen the belief that remains. Build new faith on the honest foundation of my doubt.
Doubt brought to God becomes the raw material for deeper faith. Don't run from it — bring it closer. Amen.
When to pray this
Doubt is not the opposite of faith; indifference is. The fact that you are still asking the question, still bringing it to God rather than walking away quietly, is itself a kind of faith. Honest doubt prayed out loud has always been welcome.
