God, I'm so tired of trying to control everything. Relationships, outcomes, timelines, other people — none of it is mine to manage. I uncurl my fingers and release it all. Do whatever You want with my life. I'm done steering. You take the wheel and take me anywhere.
Surrender feels like losing control — but it's actually finding the only One worth trusting with it. Amen.
When to pray this
Surrender is not giving up; it is stopping the exhausting work of controlling what was never yours to control. Most of us have to do it repeatedly about the same thing.
