A Morning Prayer for Protection
Before you step outside today, let God go ahead of you.
God, I don't know what today holds but You do. Cover me and my loved ones in Your protection. Guard us on the roads, in conversations, and from unseen dangers. Be our shield against the enemy's schemes. No accident, no attack, no evil will come near us today.
You don't walk into today unprotected — the God of angel armies goes before you. Amen.
When to pray this
Ask for protection over the people you love and over the places you cannot be. This is one of the oldest and plainest prayers there is, and it does not need dressing up.
