A Bedtime Prayer for Perseverance
You survived another day the enemy tried to take from you — that's a victory.
God, I didn't conquer the world today but I didn't quit either. That has to count for something. Reward my perseverance. Multiply my small efforts into big results. While I sleep, let endurance grow in me like roots growing deeper underground. I will not be uprooted by this season.
Perseverance doesn't make the news — but it wins the war. You're winning. Rest now. Amen.
When to pray this
Most things that matter are won by people who simply did not stop. Not by the most talented — by the ones still there in month eleven. Pray this when quitting has started to sound reasonable.
