A Prayer for Perseverance
You're exhausted and quitting sounds logical — but you're closer than you think.
God, I want to give up. The grind has gone on too long with too few results. But You didn't bring me this far to leave me here. Refuel my determination. Help me run the next mile even when my legs are shaking. I will not quit on what You started in me.
The darkest mile is usually the last one before the finish line. Don't stop now. Amen.
When to pray this
Most things that matter are won by people who simply did not stop. Not by the most talented — by the ones still there in month eleven. Pray this when quitting has started to sound reasonable.
