A Prayer for Open-Doors
God opens doors no human can shut. Keep knocking.
God, I have been standing at this door for a long time. I am tired of waiting but I am not giving up on what You promised me. If this door is not mine, close it clearly. If it is, swing it open. I trust Your timing over my impatience.
The right doors open at the right time. Keep knocking. Amen.
When to pray this
Ask for the right doors, not just any open one. A closed door you were pushing hard against is sometimes the kindest answer you will get, even though it will not feel like it for a while.
