God, hope feels like a risk I can't afford right now. But You specialize in impossible situations. Breathe life back into the dreams I've buried. Show me something today that reminds me You are still working behind the scenes. Resurrect my expectation.
Things are shifting even when you can't see it — hope is not naive, it's brave. Amen.
When to pray this
Hope is not optimism. Optimism expects things to go well; hope holds on when there is no evidence either way. Pray this on the days you cannot manufacture the feeling — those are the days it is for.
