If today stole your joy, let God return it with interest while you sleep.
God, today was joyless and grey. I went through the motions but felt nothing. Restore the joy of my salvation tonight. Remind me why life is worth celebrating. Let me dream about good things. Let me wake up with a spark I didn't have today. Joy is not gone — it's just hiding.
Joy buried under a hard day isn't dead — it's just sleeping. And tomorrow it wakes up. Amen.
When to pray this
Joy is not the same as a good mood. It survives circumstances that happiness does not. Ask for it plainly, especially in a season where it feels unavailable.
