The caterpillar didn't choose comfort — it chose to dissolve and become something new.
God, I'm in the dissolving phase and I hate it. Everything I knew about myself is shifting. Old coping mechanisms aren't working. Familiar identities don't fit. But I trust You are reconstructing me into something I could never have built on my own. Make me new. Completely new.
The space between who you were and who you're becoming is sacred — trust the transformation. Amen.
When to pray this
Real change is slow and mostly invisible from inside it. You will usually only see it looking backward. Pray this on the days when it feels like nothing is happening, because that is often when it is.
