Prayer

A Prayer for Identity

The world keeps telling you who you should be — but God already decided who you are.

God, I've been letting other people define me and it's crushing me. Remind me who I am in Your eyes. Not my job title. Not my follower count. Not my mistakes. I am chosen, loved, and set apart. Root my identity in Your truth so deep that nothing shakes it.

You are not what they called you — you are who God says you are. That's enough. Amen.

When to pray this

You will be told who you are by your job, your failures, your family, and the loudest voice in your own head, and most of those are unreliable narrators. Pray this when you need to hear it from a better source.
