A Prayer for Healing
Emotional wounds bleed just as much as physical ones — and God heals both.
God, the hurt is deep and the scar is old. I've buried pain that I never properly dealt with. Begin the surgery I've been avoiding. Heal the memories that still sting. Touch the trauma that still triggers. I give You permission to go to the places I've locked away.
Healing isn't forgetting — it's remembering without the pain controlling you. Amen.
When to pray this
Pray boldly for healing and pray honestly about where things actually stand. Both belong. Asking plainly is not a lack of faith, and neither is telling God the truth about how tired you are. Keep your doctors in the loop.
